Arapohue Healing & Recovery Centre
loving the fathers with the love of the Father
Dear friends,
We are seeing a miraculous move of God bringing His sons back from the land of the enemy to be healed, trained up and sent out to their families and communities.
Two new guests arrived this week, bringing the numbers up to 7 men, leaving room for one more. It's a very special time for us witnessing what the Lord had in mind from the beginning come to pass. There is a very special group of men being prepared for such a time as this. It gives us great hope for the future.
Thanks for being with us on the journey.
As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him.
Stay blessed,
Ray, Jan, Gary and the A-team at Arapohue Centre

Love and marriage
We were privileged to be invited to the wedding of a previous guest, Daniil Blair and his gorgeous bride Maria Kaur at the Orthodox Christian Church in Portland, Whangarei.
Here's his story... glory to God.
I had an excellent outcome in court… I gave the courts the support letters from Arapohue, which were noted in court. 15-years of addiction. 8 years in prison and 73 convictions.I am getting married next month. I am applying for a job in a rehab centre and am also studying for my Level 4 Certificate in Mental Health and Addictions.
I entered Arapohue taking from the world... I left with the heart to feed the community.

Tokatoka Peak climb
Not far from Arapohue Centre, Tokatoka Peak is an andesite volcanic core, great to climb with stunning 360 degree views at the top.
Guests Zephaniah, Jaime and Lyrich took the dogs Lucy and Buck and enjoyed the climb one evening recently.

The Schoolhouse project
Thanks to a loan from Christian Savings and some generous donations work has begun restoring the old Schoolhouse. This building will house a mental health and addictions (MHA) support worker and family in due course as funding arrives to pay him. Big thanks to Shawn House and team for the awesome work repiling, re-roofing and now insulating and recladding.

Kai Ora Fund thanks
God told Jan, "Get ready to feed people." So we are doing this with Operation Feed the People and appreciate the Kai Ora Fund for partnering with us to see this happen. A big thanks to the Kai Ora Fund for granting us $4,781 to purchase an 8ft x 21ft greenhouse and the timber for raised beds to go inside.
