"You make a way
where there is no way"

"You make a way where there is no way," God said to Janet as she climbed Tokatoka Peak in the pre-dawn darkness for three years with her friends. She cleared the path from fallen branches, cobwebs and slippery rotten leaves... and firmed up the footholds with strategically-placed rocks that she carried in for the task when the clay was soft. They welcomed the dawn from the mountain-top, rain, hail and shine.

Arapohue Retreat is no different. We've gone ahead and made the way... where there was no way... for people struggling. We are there at that critical time when they reach out for help when the clay of their heart is soft. When they're at the bottom of their barrel. We're amazed at the lengths God goes to in order to rescue just one of his sons or daughters. We're also amazed at the faithfulness of God to provide day after day for the restoration effort at the camp and the day-to-day needs. We want to thank you for being a part of the journey.

Thank you...
Ray, Janet and the team

New life

springs forth everywhere at Arapohue Retreat, from the baby chicks to the new orchard trees, creation is awaiting the revealing of the sons and daughters of God.

The guests, volunteers and visitors absolutely love the animals, gardens and the farm life.

It helps them appreciate the beauty of creation, come back down to earth and find their peace and joy again in the simplicity of nature.

Kayla

We celebrate with Kayla, two-years free from addiction and her new lease on life

When she arrived at Arapohue Retreat Kayla had lost everything... her health, her children and her hope. She'd been an alcoholic and meth addict for 25-years and was suffering from severe PTSD.

She experienced much healing from trauma through the grace of God and the loving care and prayer of our volunteer team.

Within 5-months Kayla had four of her children back in her care and we had to keep running to restore cabins to accommodate her rapidly growing family.

She now ministers to women and loves teaching them the word of God. Well done Kayla, we are so grateful to God for your restoration. See her interview on The Fresh Start with David Obeda here...
