God draws us
... with his loving kindness ...

Dear friends,
Jesus left the ninety-nine to go after the one lost sheep. This is what we do.
We honour Jesus for his great love for us and his sacrifice and resurrection from the dead this Easter / Passover.
Some guests haven’t ever been to church before. Some haven’t ever heard the gospel of Jesus Christ. Some haven’t ever stepped into true rest. Some have lived in fight-or-flight their entire lives. All enjoy the food and fellowship and many find the way to salvation and eternal life at Arapohue Retreat.
Thank you for your loving kindness and partnership to help make this unique healing and recovery centre happen.

Thanks this month to...
Dane from Maungakaramea for donating 8 beautiful bales of mini-baleage which the horses LOVE. If you want some call Dane on 027 200 6617 ($22 ea).
Thanks to those who donated towards purchasing more of Janet's books to give away. You are awesome! Thanks for giving hope.
Thanks to Simon from High Wire Contracting Ltd for the fantastic job he did replacing the old Lodge mains wiring - and the donor who made this happen.
Thanks to Wild Side Charitable Trust Treasurer and friend Gary Shuttleworth for visiting Arapohue Retreat.
Thanks to Gary Codlin, builder, AOD counsellor and friend for all his hard work this month with the guests replacing the Lodge lounge ceiling - and a million other things.
Teen Mission sent a reconnaissance team made up of two lovely ladies from Australia (including one Kiwi) and two from the USA... to scope out Arapohue Retreat with a view to sending a team of 20/30 next year to stay for 2-3 weeks to volunteer while they also do outreach activities in the nearby communities. Lovely to meet you Nikita, Tia, Lane and Abigail and thanks for the help planting the beetroot!
Thanks to all who have given or prayed for us this year. Your tax-deductible receipts will be coming to you as soon as we can manage it.

Korowai Cabin is an extra large cabin in amongst the trees being developed up as a retreat residence for pastors and ministers wanting a break, and for special volunteers like builders.
The inside is all ready and we now need drainage from this cabin and a new toilet next door to run the grey water and sewerage down to the septic tank at the back of the Cottage (see green roof in the pic).
The total cost for this to be completed is approximately $7,000. Can you help?
