New life, new start
the old has gone, the new has come
Dear friends,
It's been a month of fun, fellowship, baptisms, learning, healing, study, work and new friends. They came from Missouri and they came from Drury.
Arapohue Retreat guests are learning many keys to turn their lives around including healing from shame, addictions, emotional and sexual abuse.
Janet completed the Elijah House C-School ministry training, another full week of study in Pukekohe last month. Ray is set to complete his D-School in November. What a gift to have these tools in our toolbox to help people.
Stay blessed!

Baptisms at Baylys Beach
Arapohue Retreat celebrated the baptisms of three guests last month at the wild and beautiful west coast Baylys Beach; Dorian, Jaime and James. A little chilly for a bit :)
So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
They came from Missouri
Four builders from the Nazarene Church in Missouri, USA helped Gary and our team with rebuilding the lodge back deck and it's looking fantastic. A huge thank you to Chad, Scott, Eric and Clyde and the Nazarene outreach team.
They came from Drury
Carl and Teresa Robson from Drury Church and Christian school community brought up a team of young people from many cultures for a bush working bee. We had an awesome time of fun and fellowship amongst a full workday. Planted 40+ Totara trees, and some Manuka and Karamu where Cyclone Gabrielle had devastated an entire slope (Southern side. They planted 8 Kauri in the bush in a light-well caused by downed trees plus 20 Lomandra grasses, 6 Kawakawa plus Flax on the slope in front of Okahu House.
