Hope springs forth

at Arapohue Retreat - a refuge from the storms

Dear friends,

This month welcomed more new guests seeking refuge from the storms of life. We are always being stretched as our borders and resources are being constantly expanded in every way.

Heal the man, heal the family. Heal the family, heal the community. Heal the community, heal the nation. It's tough work but what can be more satisfying than working with God to see men's hope, dignity and strength return as they turn their lives around. Their families look on with renewed hope for the future with their loved ones in it.

The foundational and structural repair work around the Lodge is cracking on at pace thanks to Gary and his hardworking team of guests, however we need your help to continue the restoration. This is a huge effort - for the community - and with the community. Thanks for being there for us so we can continue to be there for you.

Stay blessed,
Ray, Jan and the A-team

Making the news for all the right reasons

Thanks to our local newshound Andy Bryenton we scored an August article in the Kaipara Lifestyler. It's time to look back and celebrate how far we've come, having helped many people and restored many buildings and much land over 4.5 years.

From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been advancing forcefully and forceful people are seizing it.
Matthew 11:12 (EHV)
